qwerty
QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Mar 1, 2005 -> 07:38 AM) The problem is, is Skiles ever going to start Hinrich and Gordon together? They'll get abused defensively against bigger guards especially come playoff time. Hinrich must do something right since he is always mentioned with the best perimeter defenders in the nba. He may be smaller but he's strong and quick enough to d up pretty much anyone. Of course he has trouble against the real tall scoring guards like Tmac and Kobe, but pretty much everyone does and in those instances you can slide Noc and Deng over. Gordon and Hinrich will play together a lot more next year, but there already on the court a ton at the same time. It just happens to be that the way Gordon plays he'd absolutely die if he played 40 minutes a game. He'll improve stamina wise though and be able to handle more minutes and of course he'll have to improve defensively, but Skiles is the right guy for that job. BridgeportHeather
QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Feb 27, 2005 -> 06:41 PM) The reason he is starting on an NBA team is becuase he does the small things that the common fan doesn't notice. He pressures the ball on defense. Makes smart decisions. Leads the offense. Busts his ass. He isn't near the talent of Gordon but Chris is playing a HUGE role on this Bulls team. I totally agree with the above. I'd really love to see Duhon play more with Noccioni. This type of a move could improve both players at the same time. Duhon defends well, but sometimes he seems to "run out of gas," while Noccioni never seems to run out of energy, but sometimes seems to get lost in plays. Having both on the floor at the same time could help "cancel out" each other's deficiencies.
