Stocking
I got into the health thing of late and am going to run the shamrock shuffle. Has anyone ran this event and what can I expect?
Brian
QUOTE(Stocking @ Feb 28, 2005 -> 11:23 PM) I got into the health thing of late and am going to run the shamrock shuffle. Has anyone ran this event and what can I expect? Never heard of it, but good luck to you. I havent ran consistently since I tore tendons in my left ankle back in August. Takes forever to heal. maggsmaggs
I am running the Lake Shore Marathon May 30, I unfortunately am dealing with shin splints right now, which sucks. But definately not as bad as torn tendons

Unless you are a top college runner, grab a spot in the back and force yourself to go out slow for the first mile or two (I assume this is a 10k). Then spend the next 4 miles passing people and saying hello. Save the racing for down the road.
