i picked other.... id like us to trade down for 2 first rounders include a guy like Michael Haynes if need be or something and than draft the OL guy and Clayton the WR.

Its my opinion with the last guy solidifying our OL and Clayton being a speedster if i remember correct along with Moose our offense will be good enough to score a bit and most importantly not put all the pressure on our defense which is dominant if not on a last ranked offense.

For starters, I could honestly care less what the Bears do.

That being said, I voted for Williams, because if they remain at 4, that is what I think they should do.

However, having thought about it a little more, I don't think they should stay at 4 any more. I think they should trade down with San Diego, because San Diego does have a pretty pressing need at receiver, and in doing that, they are assuring that the Vikings get the lesser of the top 2, or that Minny has to look longer at Derrick Johnson(which I have said all along I think they should do...when your defense is as weak as their's was, and you can get an impact defensive player like that, you don't pass it up), and that they can draft a CB and a WR in the first round. Preferably, I would say Williamson at 12, and then Miller/Rogers/Browner at 28. If for some reason, Washington takes Williamson at 9, you can look at Jones-Rolle at 12, and then someone like Roddy White, Chris Henry, or Jerome Mathis(whose stock really rose this past weekend, running an officially timed 4.31 40) at 28.

Either or covers 2 needs, and covers them decently enough.

Let me say this: I no longer believe that Edwrds is goign 4 and Williams 7 to Minnesota. Everyone knows that the Vikes are enamored with Williams so I think someone is going to want to move into the top 6 to nab the second receiver(whichever one it ends up as). You can't really be too disappointed if the Bears wen dup with Bray/Williams or ROnnie Brown. You get an impact player either way. This may have been posted but this is very impressive:

In the most impressive scene so far at this year's combine, Michigan WR Braylon Edwards elected to bench-press despite the fact that wide receivers -- along with quarterbacks, kickers and punters -- are not required to. Edwards simply walked into the designated weightlifting board room when the second group of running backs was in the middle of the lifting process and began to warm up as if he was supposed to be there. Edwards ripped off 22 reps in front of a confused, yet energetic crowd. Scouts and coaches in attendance were so impressed they gave him a raucous ovation as he departed the room, which is a rarity in this relatively subdued process.

Mike Williams cant be in the equation... I think #4 is too high to take him.

I think it comes down to 3 players.... Ronnie Brown, Cedric Benson, Braylon Edwards.

Edwards is an absolute f***ing beast..... dont put the Michigan WR tag on him, because he isnt a David Terell.

Cedric Benson.... Monster who wants to be the next Ricky Williams except for his interests in lets say... botany..

Ronnie Brown.... ran an amazing 40... I wanna say 4.28? Thats just fast.... and considering Lovie is all about team speed... he'd fit right in.

I rank em just like that.

Edwards

Benson

Brown

I'll throw some love out for Derrick Johnson.

He's an absolute freak.  Concentrate offense on the next couple of rounds, but take (arguably) the best athlete/defensive player in the draft in Johnson.

I do agree that thinking about him is reasonable.

I mean, what's wrong with having a defense that is one of the absolute best in the league? It has worked decently enough for Baltimore.

I voted Ronnie Brown because I would like the Bears to sign Ian Gold who was released from Tampa Bay today which would replace Johnson and maybe sign a WR like Jurevicous (who was also cut form Tampa), Brown, or Mason which would take away the drafting of Williams/Edwards. If 1 of these happens, I want the Bears to draft for the other but if neither of these happen, I would want them to take Edwards or Johnson.

Dude, Ronnie Brown is the #1 back in the draft...I am almost 100% sure he will not slip past 2.

I understand why you would say that but Miami still hasn't changed from Benson to Brown. Brown got himself a lot of money from his Combine workouts but I wouldn't doubt Miami still takes Benson. You never know what can happen.

lolerz

Saban already said they are taking the BPA, and after the Combine im almost positive that its Brown

Benson is gonna be a good back, BUT Brown can run, block, catch, and ran a damn 4.3 at the Combine...

He has better size than Benson and it would be foolish to take Benson after seeing Brown at the combine..

Besides, Miami still may Alex Smith instead..

BUT if its a RB my money is on Brown.. he does it all and thats what will fit best into Linehans system
