I'm guessing it'll be simial to Muhammed.

jackie hayes
QUOTE(shakes @ Mar 2, 2005 -> 09:52 PM) Any financials on the Mason signing? I'm guessing it'll be simial to Muhammed. Here's the story. 5 yrs, $20 mil, $7 mil guaranteed. A little less than Muhammad's deal, it sounds like. EDIT: Also, it's good to see the 2 teams most in need of a wr getting their guy, unlike the whole TO, rich-get-richer fiasco of last year. DBAHO
That's an excellent deal for the Ravens. I wouldn't be suprised to see Mason outproduce Muhammed even though he got the smaller contract.

DBAHO
Signings are coming in thick and fast. Jacksonville got Reggie Hayward for a 5 year $25 million deal with a 10M bonus, the same amount Dallas spent on Anthony Henry. Great deal for the Jags. The Giants are about to sign Antonio Pierce on a 4 year deal with incentives that could reach $25 million. And Duane Starks is about to get traded to New England for a 3rd. And Marco Rivera could be signing with Dallas tonight, and Jonas Jennings with the Jets moving Jason Fabini to RT.

DBAHO
QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Mar 3, 2005 -> 02:08 PM) Packers OL Wahle signs with Carolina. Is he going to be their LT? They'd leave Jordan Gross at RT if that was the case.

Incorrect my friend...Jennings flew out to San Francisco today and signed what has been reported as a 7 year deal for $36 million with the 49ers!!! Punch and Judy Garland
I think the Jags will not be happy with Hayward. They do need a pass rusher but all he does is sack the qb (and not otherworldly in that area), not much on the run. He is definitely this years Bert Barry. DBAHO
QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Mar 4, 2005 -> 06:35 PM) Rams signed Chris Claiborne...I believe 3 years, $10.5 mill Does Mike Martz learn anything? Coakley and Claiborne are NOT going to upgrade the Rams defense, especially for the price they signed at. Hell if I was Angelo, I'd be taking a look at Kyle Turley if he's healthy. DBAHO
Who saw this coming? Looks like Cleveland might have to pick Alex Smith now; Bills signed Kelly Holcomb, formerly of the Browns, to an undisclosed contract. A curious move by Holcomb and a great find for the Bills. The Browns reportedly had $8 million over four years on the table for Holcomb to be the likely starter in Cleveland. But he choose to be go to Buffalo to be the presumptive backup and mentor for J.P. Losman. This hurts any possible fantasy value.
SoxFan1
Kurt Warner visited the Bears today...Personallty, I wouldn't be upset with a QB trio of Rex, Kurt, and Hutch.
DBAHO
Another CB off the market; Browns signed cornerback Gary Baxter to a multi-year deal. Terms will be announced later, but this is a shocker. Baxter will replace Anthony Henry in Cleveland's lineup and likely got close to a $15 million signing bonus. Baxter is solid, but not exceptional in the role of a number one corner.
