In other words that no one could beat them.

That's an impressive offense... They'd be good for maybe, maybe 600 runs a year.

The pitching staff is rather impressive. Better than league average. They'd finish with a record near the 2003 detroit tigers. They'd lose more than 100, but I'm not sure they'd break the record.

Where would you bat timo? I would definitely bat him 3rd or fourth becuase he is so ''impressive'' with men in scoring position.

I'd hit him second... Tony third, and Eduardo fourth. I'd lead off which ever of the Low-OPS all-stars has the best OBP, and I'd pick names out of a hat for 5-8. Pitchers have to bat because Santiago Perez was the next best Perez out thier, and I think the Pitchers could out hit him.

I think a an All-Rodriguez team would beat the All=Perez team. Just off the top of my head:

A-Rod

K-Rod

Pudge

Feliz Rodriguez

Henry Rodriguez

Liu Rodriguez

Rich Rodriguez

Dont forget Benny "The Jet" Rodriguez!!!

Absolutely NO WAY Luzinski rides pine while Knoblauch plays ahead of him if it's my team.

And was Dybzinski Polish, by the way?

Yes, Dybzinski was Polish. I forgot all about him.

People forget how good Chuck Knoblauch was in his prime.

1994: 35 SB, .312 AVG, .381 OBP

1995: 46 SB, .333 AVG, .424 OBP

1996: 35 SB, .341 AVG, .448 OBP

I'll take that out of the #9 hole any day of the week, mang. The lineup already has plenty of sluggers.

QUOTE(YASNY @ Mar 6, 2005 -> 08:43 PM)
I'll still take my all "end in Z" team.  Anyone named Rodriguez, Hernandez, Fernandez, Perez, Ordonez, etc.

I think that the Polish dudes and the "End In Z" team would both have terrific offensive potential, but it ultimately comes down to pitching. I can't think of very many good pitchers whose names end in Z. There's Pedro Martinez, Willie Hernandez, John Smoltz, Livan Hernandez, etc. I'm sure that I'm forgetting somebody, but the only two Hall Of Famers are Pedro and John, and the latter is questionable. I could match up with Phil and Carl.

And you gotta admit, Maz, Yaz, Stan The Man, Big Al Simmons, and Kluszewski in order would wreck shop. You could come very close to matching that, however.
