COLUMBUS, Ohio — At the bodybuilding event named for him, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger (search) said Sunday that he wants to ban all sales of junk food in California schools and fill vending machines with fresh fruits, vegetables and milk.

Arnold is one slimey guy but I'll jump on this bandwagon.

to be replaced by steroid injections

I am in favor of this. I was appalled when I noticed all the junk foods and sodas for sale at my kids Jr. High. Texas pulled out the soda machines a year or two ago and replaced them with water and real fruit juices.

I also think school groups are irresponsible when they use candy as a fund raiser.

I agree with him actually.  Our public institutions should not be contributing to one of the most preventable causes of death.  If parents want to teach their kids bad habits that is one thing, the government should not.

No should not do.  Poisoning my kids is up to me :P Heck I said "should not" twice :bang  :D

They should keep junk foods out of the schools. Same difference. :D

Of course I remember the days of pizza, green beans, and apple sauce; all at the same temperature :puke
