Gammons :rolly

I don't either. I think they are a team more built for the five game series than the 7 . I say this due to them having the game's best pitcher (or darn near it). Still, they've struggled in that environment as well the last two years, but granted they did play the evil empire both years. Maybe Mauer will be that good, many certainly think so.

IMO Mauer will be a stud, but let the kid play a year before going around saying he is the best..

AS far as the twins winning the WS or even getting there.. HEY Gammons pick a f***ing team and stick with them.. now its the twins, in 2 weeks it will be the Red Sox then the Yankees and then the Angels.

In one of his own posts on ESPN, he writes that the Cards are better than last year yet picks the Cubs to win the NLC.. Umm Am I missing something there, if the Cards are better than their 100+ win season would the Cubs have to do a hell of alot more than sign Burnitz to make them better?

On Cold Pizza Gammons once again said that Mauer is the best young player in the American League and picked the Twins go to to the World Series. At least he's being consistant but I just don't see them getting to the World Series.

Picking the Twins to go to the World Series!!! Over his beloved Red Sox!! What is wrong with him? Everyone knows on ESPN the Red Sox or Yankees are the favorites.
