I was talking to my best friend today, Cubs fan.  He's so f***ing furious, rightfully. that Dusty continues to hit two of the s***test OBP men in the leauge above DLee.  We were discussing who could hit above him.

 

I suggested, Hairston leading off playing everday, Walker hitting 2.  Now there's some RBI's for Lee.

 

I know people probably don't like talking about the Cubs.  But...

Any thoughts?

My thoughts exactly, Hairston should be starting in center and leading off and Walker should be hitting 2nd, there's no doubt. However for some reason the Cubs are in love with Corey Patterson, for what reason I have no clue.

I just did a little search, to see how bad Iguchi has been since His OPS topped out. Actually I just used may 5th, an arbitrary date that since then, he's failed to do anything spectacular.

 

Anyway, while searching, I found that Neifichiro! of the Cubs has posted a magical .247/.267/.341 since that date. As if that wasn't bad enough, there's only 4 players in baseball who've had more ABs than him since that date.

 

Oh and Iguchi is .240/.308/.406 since May 5th. That's two months of BLAH.
