CWSGuy406
Uhh -- someone tell Oakland that they're not supposed to win without Huddy and Mulder. Don't look now, but there's a tie for first out West...

And he's a perfect target as either a 1B, 3B and any OF spot. I would trade Anderson in a deal for Jackson though, but Arizona wants good young pitching not more good position prospects, they've got plenty of those already. Kalapse
“People in all facets of life are looking for an edge. In business or in sports, people look for ways to get ahead. There will be temptations that are in that gray area and some people will go for them.” -Jorge Piedra, who was caught using steroids earlier this year, speaking the truth unlike Mr. Raffy…. The guy may be a steroid user but that statement right there is going to garnish him a little more respect. I know I respect him more than Raffy and the others. Atleast this guy had the balls to come out and admit what he did.

CWSGuy406
Did anyone just see how the A's/Angels game just ended? It was the bottom of the ninth, with runners on second and third, with two outs. 4-4. Rodriguez threw a backdoor slider, 0-0, and it was called a ball. Rodriguez clearly wasn't happy with the call. Anyways -- Molina throws back to the pitcher, Rodriguez drops it, Kendall comes home and scores. The A's are in first.
3 BeWareTheNewSox 5
Nice pitcher's duel in Oakland. Santana vs Haren. Currently 1-0 in the top of the 9th with both pitchers still in, not sure if Santana or Nathan gets the 9th EDIT: Santana out to pitch the 9th. Looking for the CG Shutout, starts the inning with 89 pitches, retiring 19 in a row Double EDIT: 2 quick outs for Santana, and now the A's are making it interesting. Kotsay with a double (2nd man to reach 2nd base on the night, furthest an A hitter has reached). Crosby walks. Chavez up. Nathan is warming. Final Update: Chavez flies out, Ford and Stewart almost bumped into each other for it, but it was caught. Twins win 1-0, Haren a tough luck loser. Balta1701
Here's something I didn't expect...Edgar Renteria, the guy the BoSox paid $40 million because of his defense with the cards last year, is leading all major league players in errors this year. He also has the 2nd worst fielding percentage as an SS in the majors too, so it's not just because he's gotten a lot of attempts. Man, that strikes me as a huge defensive dropoff.
