They've wanted him gone and this might become an excuse to do so. THe problem is compounded by an ownership change scheduled to take place (peter king says it will be nixed). I think with Moss gone and the ownership in flux-the Vikes need a fresh start at the HC position. It's hard to do that without a real owner though

There's always turmoil for the Vikings. I just wish they'd accept losing and get on with life.

???

With a halfway decent draft(MWill at 7, Pool at 18, and maybe Nugent with their 2nd round pick assuming he is still there, which he probably should be, along with others), and a halfway decent coach(be it Tice or someone else), they are a 10 win team next year. They have put themselves in a very good position to win next year.

The defense needs some help...but signing Smoot will help that a little bit...and Pat Williams is pretty solid too.

For me, Tice has been an asshole since, as the Vikings O-line coach, he told Korey Stringer to suck it up and that drinking water was for babies.

  :fyou Tice

i didnt know he said that, wow thats some bulls***, i still like the way he coaches he just as ass and a good coach, like all the greats.

It's not that uncommon for a coach to say something like that.

you make it sound like he tried to kill him on purpose  :banghead

but still me personally, i dont think he is much of a head coach especially with letting Randy Moss walk all over him

That may be the owner's fault instead of Tice's. Look at the way Cubs handle handled the Sosa - Baylor situation a few years ago. Baylor's credibility was zero before he ever managed his first regular season game for the Cubs.
