"And, to each of you," he said. "Courage." He seemed to savor each word of his signoff Wednesday: "For the `CBS Evening News,' Dan Rather reporting. Good night." I watched a Rembering Dan Rather special tonight, he sure has had a great career. What's he going to do now, continue reporting or something? I've always thought that Dan leaned a little to the left, but not unreasonably so for a news anchor. Unfortunately for him, his subordinates leaned way too far to the left and ultimately betrayed his trust. I'd like to see Dan go to one of the cable news channels.
