KipWellsFan
http://www.cbc.ca/story/world/national/200...nge-050310.html NEW YORK - A judge dismissed a lawsuit on Thursday that accused chemical companies of committing war crimes by supplying the U.S. military with Agent Orange during the Vietnam War. The suit was filed on behalf of about four million Vietnamese, who said they had suffered illnesses and their land had been poisoned by Agent Orange and other herbicides sprayed by U.S. aircraft. This particular suit seemed destined for failure but it reminds us of what the Vietnamese people suffered.

LowerCaseRepublican
IIRC, it took Vietnam veterans from the US military years to sue successfully for damages suffered as a result of Agent Orange as well. This is almost like the use of depleted uranium but that's another debate for another time /horrified at government treatment of veterans who got sick from Agent Orange & Gulf War Syndrome after talking with chem weapons expert (and former US Army Major) Doug Rokke.
