yes Hinrich hustles but i still dont see how that makes it ok for his poor shot selection.  So your saying if Crawford hustled more and shot it 50 times making only 10 it would be ok because he hustled?

I don't see where you think Hinrich has poor shot selection. He's probably the most unselfish guy on the team. Yes his shooting % is lower then you like but thats because when Gordon's not on the court he's forced to put up the bad shots when time is running out.

Hinrich's shot selection is not the problem. It is the fact that he misses wide open f***ing threes all the time. He usually does not just hoist shots from 15 and farther up. Have you ever seen crawford play? I am seriously asking you because the shot selection is not comparable. So many knicks fans wanted him out of there even before they got him.

Plus I think Crawford did take like 50 shots a game when he was with the Bulls :)

no but he still leads the team in shots attempted at 14.6 a full 2 ahead of Gordons 12.6.... and im sorry for all you Hinrich lovers but when you lead the team in shots taken but are only making 38.5% of them that is not helping the team.

also on 3 pointers Kirk is barely shooting at a higher percentage than Duhon :headshake

the one thing i will give Kirk on his offense is he usually always nails the shot on 2nd chance points :)

When you are playing f***ing awesome defense and dishing out over 7 dimes you can take that many shots in my book.

But I suppose if you want JC shooting 15.6 shoots a game at 39.3% while not playing good defense and only dropping 4 dimes, suit yourself.

I am far from a hinrich lover. I for one think he is overated.

Anyway, do you think he takes the lead amount of shots for no reason? He is told to by the coach, scott skiles, the meanie. It should be curry don't you agree? Oh wait, he can only play well for about 8 minutes in the first quarter and then drops in another six points throughout the game and a rebound or two.

did i say i wanted JC back instead of Hinrich......... im just saying he needs to take les shots per game because it isnt helping the team on offense.

I suppose the argument there then is who should be getting more shots then?

Hinrich is shooting .355 for threes. Crawford is shooting .358 for threes.

:lolhitting

I can tell you one thing, qwerty wouldn't be against that.

Actually Pike has impressed me ever since watching him d up against Maggette. He is a solid player and a damn good shooter.

I remember back when he was in his prime god could he score.

idonno who should take more shots but someone needs to step up and take some more.

I actually try not to get to dissapointed with this current team given the fact that its such a big turnaround.

So this year i can live with Hinrich's poor as FG% and bad shot selection and the amazing amount of turnovers we commit. Its just a problem id like to see being fixed as the season progresses or at worse case by next season.

Once more he does not have a bad shot selection. But you can believe what you like.

im sorry but i watch the games and he does have bad shot selection...like when on transition he stops and takes a long jumper even when we have numbers and more so than less misses the shot for example.

When he takes those jumpers they are threes when he is wide open. Much like the superior crawford. But he just does it a lot more ( crawford).
