Wow this is a hard pick to say the least, because they've actually filled their needs on their LB's and CB's with the acquisitions of Sam Cowart and Fred Smoot. So I'm going to say a suprise pick in Troy Williamson since Edwards and Williams will most likely be off the board.

Shouldn't we just skip them and go on to the next pick, then come back to them? ;)

Ha

BTW, if those were the available players, which I do not think they will be, I would say they'd trade down and get some more value out of that pick.

Though, they could also draft Derrick Johnson too...so I'll say that.

I'll tell you right now who the pick is going to be.

The Vikings are going to draft Braylon Edwards at this slot if Williams if off the board. I'd bet my bottom dollar both Edwards and Williams aren't off the board at pick 7.

The Titans are going to draft Pac-Man Jones out of WVU and the Vikings are going to select Braylon Edwards. Book it. Seriously, book it.

I do agree that Tennessee will not take Braylon...however, the thought of both Edwards and MWill being off the board is not completely ludicrous.

If San Diego has some type of change of heart where they want Edwards badly, they can trade 12 and 28(which I have been preaching all along, but I do know that it will not necessarily happen) for #4, and take Edwards...TB would then probably take MWill...that leaves them both off the board at 7.

I would say there, Minny would look to trade down, because Williamson is not a good value at #7(he is probably in the 10-15 range, so even 9 is reaching for him)...but if they can't find a trade down they like, they take Derrick Johnson, and then take another receiver at 18(probably Clayton).

I will also say that if there is a trade up in the draft, it will probably either be Minny trading up to 3 to secure one of the WR's, or San Diego up to 4, again, to secure one of the WR's.

The Vikings are going to have these 5 linebackers if they draft DJ. I predict a trade down.

Johnson, Cowart, Thomas, Henderson, Harris.

A trade down if that is the board, yes.

Like I said though...even though that board is a possibility, I do not see that board.
