Tetsu sounds like he has a deceptive change.  He is all over the place, though.  Bond walks on a wild pitch.  1st and 3rd and a new pitcher coming in.

Yes Yofu has control problems I seen him at Birmingham the last 1 1/2 seasons. He has A plus Change and good splitter but as with most split ball pitchers he struggles with comand. But when he is on he is unhitable like Nomo. Yofu threw a no-hitter last year for Charlotte.

Matt Smith up.  Maybe this will be promising.

Matt set the Barons and Southern League Record for apperences last season at 70. Just think the barons played 138 games last season and Matt was in 70

Had to disappear for a minute. I think Smith hit the first batter. Now he is facing Ichiro. They are saying Smith has an odd throwing motion. Very wide open and he suddenly explodes on the hitter from the stretch. Ichiro flies out to left. I am assuming, perhaps incorrectly that there is a runner on 1st, 1 out.

Thx again for doing the play by play.

4 straight losses, they are not looking good doing it either.

One week to go in spring training, time to give the starters more playing time and they need to figure out what Contreras and Politte's problems are.

Borchard ends game on a 2 hopper to short.  15-9 final.  It's been fun (I think).  Supper calls.

Outstanding Play-by Play wish the result had been better but hopefully we get it together in tomorrow's game

Again my pleasure JimH. Politte worries me because he is such a veteran, that I don't expect him, at this stage, to 'figure it out' or 'grow' and start offering pitches at different speeds that would enhance deception. Even at his best it seems that the oppostion can fight him off until they get something they can handle. At the opposite end, for me, is Cotts, who may still develop into a deceptive pitcher. And my patience has not worn so thin for Contreras, given his 'stuff' and his life change of late.

And thank's for the plug BHAMBARONS. You're very kind. I share your optimism for the near future and the upcoming season. Despite the last few games, there is lot's to be excited about.
