LDF
we are #6 and here is what was said. 6. Chicago -- The only city proven to consistently support a losing team (if only because no other city so consistently produces losers). Win or lose, Cubs fans fill the Friendly Confines. The most knowledgeable fans, however, reside on the south side. http://msn.sports.espn.go.com/espn/sportsn...=BaseballCities

BridgeportHeather
Funny thing about those Cub fans...I recently asked this girl here at ISU claiming to be a huge Cub fan to name just 5 current Cub players. Of course, she was able to name SamME (EVERYONE knows him, duh!). But, the second player she mentioned was Mark Grace! lol! Typical Cub fan! If she were a Sox fan, she'd be able to name the entire Sox roster, plus tell ya stats and interesting facts about them, plus she'd be able to tell ya things about the uprise of the Sox (i.e. the minors). I like how the author pointed that out! Because a fan is useless and can't truly consider themself a FAN unless they know about their team. These Cub "fans" can call themselves fans as much as I can call myself a Biology connisour, though I don't know s*** about Biology!
Chisoxfn
Lol, I have to say Chicago is a decent sports town, but we would be great if we ever had winning teams.

Oh no. Then people would actually care and b**** if the team didn't win. I prefer to get a winning season every now and then, as opposed to expecting a team to do well, knowing they'll fall flat on their ass.
