DBAHO
Jim Ingrahan from the News-Herald of Northeast Ohio with gems like this (be warned readers may fall onto floor laughing); First base Ben Broussard vs. Justin Morneau - A really interesting matchup. Like Mauer, Morneau is a very highly regarded prospect, but last year Broussard outhit him (.275 to .271), had a higher on-base percentage by 30 points and nearly the same at-bats-per-RBI ratio (4.8 for Morneau, 5.0 for Broussard). In 138 fewer at-bats than Broussard, Morneau had a higher slugging percentage, by 48 points, and hit home runs nearly twice as frequently (one every 14.7 at-bats, compared to Broussard's one every 24.6 at-bats). EDGE: Even. Right field Juan Gonzalez vs. Jacque Jones - Gonzalez has a greater potential for producing greater numbers, but also a greater potential to miss more games due to injury. EDGE: Even. Starting rotation If you combined the two teams' five-man rotation, here's how I'd rank them 1-to-10: 1. Johan Santana, 2. Brad Radke, 3. Jake Westbrook, 4. Sabathia, 5. Millwood, 6. Carlos Silva, 7. Lee, 8. Scott Elarton, 9. Kyle Lohse, 10. Joe Mays. EDGE: Indians. Add it all up, and what do you get? The Indians' seventh Central Division title in the last 11 years. You read it here first. aboz56
Too bad they have no staff. Expert my ass. I'd take Silva over Westbrook any day of the week, Westbrook had a fluke year last year. I'd also take Lohse and Mays over Elarton any day. This guy is a clueless moron.

Don't agree with Silva over Westbrook. Unless there are injuries I'd be very surprised if Silva has better numbers than Westbrook this year. aboz56
QUOTE(KipWellsFan @ Mar 31, 2005 -> 10:53 AM) Elarton and Lee above Loshe? Juan Gone even with Jacque? He lost all credibility on that part. Jacque Jones is so much better at this point in career than Juan Gonzalez it's not even close. Juan will be lucky to play more than 70 games.
