Wise Master Buehrle
Apparently he is feeling a sharp pain in the same place as his torn meniscus.......... Or, Update: Ordonez may have to miss Opening Day because of a stomach problem believed to be the intestinal flu, the Detroit Free Press reports. Recommendation: The Tigers should know Saturday or Sunday whether Ordonez could play Monday against Kansas City. The problem is not considered serious or long-term. Jabroni
Yeah, stomach flu, knee problems -- symtoms are probably closely related... :headshake <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I never said they were related, did I? Could Magg$ be lying about having the flu when it's really a problem with his knee? It's possible.
Goober
yea, its possible he could be covering up knee pain saying he has the flu that will last 4 or 5 days. never know with him.

Punch and Judy Garland
I'm just saying that a very vocal and surprisingly large contingent of the board are so bllod-thirsty for Maggs to do poorly that there could practically be a thread for every 0 for 3. Guys-let it go. It's over. 2005 is about to start

That means little bits of food (generally seeds, nuts, anything like that) are getting caught in the folds of his stomach and causing the pain - my mom has that and she said it sucks. Yossarian
QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Mar 31, 2005 -> 05:55 PM) And? I learned my lesson sticking up for this guy. I'm no big fan of our owner or GM but Maggs tried to play us like a violin and it boomeranged I'd say.
