QUOTE(chi-guy2 @ Apr 1, 2005 -> 04:25 PM)
this mock draft blows, troy williamson going this early, same with merrian, this is ridiculous

It is really not that high at all.

I have seen Merriman taken at 11 in a ton of mock drafts...I would be very surprised to see him not taken at 11, and I have seen Williamson go to Washington at 9 too.

There are some questionable picks(Mike Williams at 4, Edwards at 6, and perhaps arguments could be made for others), but overall, it is decent.

I think the thing with Mike Williams was that a lot of Bears fans have fallen in love with him, and they don't view a RB as even a viable option due to Thomas Jones, but I am almost sure that they will take a RB in round one...I don't agree with it, but I think they will...and I personally think it will end up being Ronnie Brown, actually, because I think Miami will trade down from 2 to Minnesota or San Diego and probably take a RB(because Benson or Cadillac will almost certainly be there at 7, and there is a good chance that the same one will be there at 12 too). And there seems to be a prejudice against Braylon Edwards, because he is a Michigan receiver, and all too often when Bears fans think of Michigan receivers, they think of David Terrell.
