Jabroni
I don't think Borchard is a real good comparison. Giambi has a career OBP of somewhere near .370, IIRC. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Giambi can barely play LF. He's a 1B/DH at best. With Konerko, Gload, Everett, and Frank (when healthy) what good is he, except as an injury replacement? Edited April 2, 2005 by Jabroni
CWSGuy406
QUOTE(Jabroni @ Apr 2, 2005 -> 03:40 AM) Giambi can barely play LF. He's a 1B/DH at best. With Konerko, Gload, Everett, and Frank (when healthy) what good is he, except as an injury replacement? Did you read my post above that, at all? He shouldn't be on the 25-man, but I think he'll be a good callup when the rosters expand.

What 15 guys should we even consider before Giambi? And if you say Sweeney/Anderson, I'll just laugh. (Not that I don't like those two, just that it'd be silly to get the arbitration clock started just for a September callup) Edited April 2, 2005 by CWSGuy406

We're along ways away, but I'd assume Adkins, Burke, Walker, Borchard (maybe), and maybe a couple other vet outfielders/infielders would be called up.
