I know his foot is bothering him," Konerko said. .... and I'm wondering if that foot injury is something we should be concerned about. "If it was a seven-run game, he gives up runs when he knows he can do it. If it's a 1-0 game like it was, he just bears down. He's good. You can't put your finger on it; he's good." Which leads you believe Mark had at least mentioned it to PK, or it was known throughout the clubhouse. The second "unabridged" quote tells a completely different story. His last spring start kinda scared me because MB was missing high, which told me he was afraid to push through on his foot, and get good and low to follow through on his pitches and get the ball down.
