MurcieOne
QUOTE(sox-r-us @ Apr 7, 2005 -> 12:53 PM) Who can we get at the trade deadline for 3B? If Pods and Everett play solid and Frank comes back strong, we do not need anything else except a 3B. Vinny Castillo available? Joe Randa is looking good thus far and only makes 2 mil on a 1 year deal.... he would be nice until Fields is ready.

Jabroni
Move Uribe to 3rd and start Ozuna at SS if we have to. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The way Crede is swinging the bat, I wouldn't have a problem with that.

sox-r-us
Vinny Castilla had 35 HRs last, 21 of which were away from Coors field So what is the problem there? He plays for a team (Nationals) that will clearly look to trade anyone who is a vet at the deadline....not sure what Vinny's contract #s are but if we can get the Nationals to pick up a bit of the salary, what is the problem there? You see his average away from coors? His contract is bad too. Vinny Castilla: 2-year worth 6.2M thru 2006 signed on 11/16/04- he will make 3M in 2005 and 3.2M in 2006 Agent: Eric Goldschmidt
ottawa_sox
QUOTE(3E8 @ Apr 7, 2005 -> 02:54 PM) Move Uribe to 3rd and start Ozuna at SS if we have to. I think that makes the most sense, given arm strength, but Ozzie has expressed his lack of desire to 'tinker', so my guess is he let's Uribe settle into his new position and tries the servicable Ozuna at 3rd.
