Podsednik steals THIRD!!!

Oh man. I'm smiling uncontrolably.

2 outs and he's in scoring position, why steal? Were they not holding him on?

We'll as Hawk said an error, wild pitch, or infield single woulda scored a run

he knew they weren't holding him on.

Plus this increases his chanes on scoring...

Wild Pitch, pass ball, error..etc.

He's a very smart baserunner

Probably not. There was no throw to third.

Well, that's a testament to Scott's heads-up on the basepaths.

He saw they were both playing way back on the grass and he went ahead and took his base. No throw.

I'm not complaining, but let's not run ourselves out of innings either. Good steal if no risk, a passed ball brings you home, but it would be really dumb to get tossed at 3rd for the third out.

Pods said at Soxfest how stealing 3rd base was lost art, and how often times it was easier because of the huge jumps you can get, and how the pitcher pays less attention to you there, because they believe you are less likely to try it.

Also with Pods on 3rd instead of first he could score on a drop 3rd strike on on a WP/PB instead of just getting into 3rd and being stranded there.

Motherf***ing MLB.TV, it's freezing up every 10 seconds or so. Not Buffering like my connection is bad, just freezing. And that 10 seconds equates to just about every damn pitch. The pitcher starts his wind up, and right before he releases the ball it's freezes. Then I either hear the crack of the bat and have no clue what's happening, or miss if it's a ball or strike. I have to go off of what the announcers say, and it's the Indian announcers too, I just can't win. Do you know how annoying that is? Jesus f***.....

Scotty wouldn't have run, if he thought they were holding him on.

Trust me, if he's on second again in this game, either the 2nd baseman or the SS will be standing there with him.
