WE can second and third guess all we want. Hell, so can Ozzie. BUT, Shingo lost this one. This isnt a pattern until it happens more than a few times. This isnt a problem until it becomes a pattern. Joe Crede's hitting...thats a problem. Shingo's bad day...thats it. No I do not accept losing. No I do not look for the moral victories. I do accept that sometimes, people just dont have it and you dont know until its too late. We were "lucky" it went into extras today. Search deep down, we all would have done it the same. You put in your closer in the 9th, because if you dont and you lose, everyone will 2nd guess you. With a tie game in extra innings, you always play like your going to win in the bottom of the inning. Did we use too many pitchers? Hell yes if your catcher is warming up. Is everyone burnt for the weekend?
