Dalembert might be raw, but he ain't a complete stiff out there like Curry.  Come on, man.  You honestly believe that Curry has heart?  Is that a guy who contributes to a championship caliber team when he's in his prime?

Sammy is a misfit in O'Brien's system.

Remember, Ben Wallace bounced around from the Magic to the Bucks to the Wizards before settling down on the right team & establishing himself as one of the all-time greats.  There were people back in 97 saying that he sucked, kinda like what you're doing with Dalembert.  He's the only guy who can f*** with Rodman if we're talking greatest defensive PF since the merger.

And Curry is much more valuable than Dalembert for reasons I already mentioned.  Scoring = asses in seats.  Leaguewide scoring drought = max contract.  Curry is more valuable than Ben Wallace if we're talking contracts.  That's just the way it is.  If I'm the GM, he gawn.

When you're watching the Bulls as you say you do, and you see Eddy leading them in scoring, where do you get the idea that he's "a complete stiff"? I hope you realize that your Eddy hatred won't ever let you judge him fairly...

Ben Wallace is a f***ing beast. dalembert will NEVER be anywhere near what he is...

Bulk up. Same for Tyson.

And Yao is an underachiever. No aggression at all. On those scarce nights where he puts a little effort, the results show. If I were coaching him, I'd punch him in the face before every game or something, anything to wake his ass up...

An underachieving Yao puts up better numbers than Curry.

Does that tell you anything?

It tells me Yao is SEVEN FOOT SIX with a decent game but could be dominating...

I'm not afraid to admit that he's better than Curry, but he could be a lot better. If you can't score over people and block shots, then why the hell would you be in the NBA? He's doing what shawn bradley did, only a little better. It's called utilizing your size...

He averages about 2 more points than Eddy and plays a lot more minutes...

I never said Dalembert will be what Ben Wallace is. In essence, since I've already classified Big Ben as one of the top ten defenders ever, I'd be saying the same for Dalembert? Hell no. But there's a lot to be learned if you study up on how guys like Bill Russell and Ben Wallace were treated and classified around the league before they took off. They can't score, OMG! Talk to the championship ring.

Curry = stiff

Please, don't ask me to explain why for like the hundred millionth time.

And yes, I was born and raised in Chicago, basketball is my favorite sport, and yet, it is questionable as to whether or not I'm actually watching these games. Everything that I say in these threads is coming straight from my ass. Seriously.

nitetrain said he would take Eddy over Yao

all I know is I would not take Dalembert over Eddy. I would not go as far to say I wouldf take Eddy over Yao But, I can see Yao having a hard time continuing getting up and down the court in the near future. He seems so fragile.

He dominates in the paint.

You have to be a true Eddy-hater to say that he can't score at will in the paint.

When I said there's a scoring drought at center, I don't think I summed it up properly. There is a drought, period. No defense, no offense, no nothing. The league is pretty freaking weird right now. You have like 20 all star caliber power forwards and like 4 all star caliber centers. He dominates in the paint, but against what? Jeff Foster? Zaza and Gadzuric? Haywood? Brezec? Drobnjak? Jackson? Krstic? Aurojo or whatever? Battie and Cato? Dampier? Kaman? Mihm? Olowakandi? Nesterovic? Jerome James? Okur? He could also take guys like Ilguaskus and Ming to school on offense, I ain't denying that.

Its funny when the Bulls are winning we get all these whiners. Get rid of kirk! Get rid of Eddy! :headshake

The sad part is how they cry when people don't agree with their opinions...

I can't wait to hear that I don't know about basketball because I don't agree that we should get rid of Eddy and Kirk so we can have dalembert and pietrus on our team...

Interesting to note:

According to Red Kerr and Tom Dore, he was leading the NBA in offensive fouls when last he was on the floor.

We've heard it about 7 times in this thread alone.
