Punch and Judy Garland
I wqrry they are rushing Fields up a little quick. I'd aim for 07 full-time with him
AddisonStSox
Meanwhile, Freddy pitches his best inning of the day. Real quick. Atta' Boy Freddy, he's keeping his guys in it. It's up to them to get a run.
longshot7
This is like the Buehrle/Westbrook game.

3E8
Crede still has a higher avg than Rowand. The whole bottom of our order is a mess.
CWSGuy406
And you guys can keep talking about Josh Fields like he's gonna come in this season and take 3B and be our Scott Rolen, it's not gonna happen. He struck out a lot last year, even though he did show signs of improvement -- but he's gotta make (what some call) the biggest step in pro-ball, A to AA. But, rest assured, unless Fields absolutely smokes AA, he won't be ready till mid-2006, the earliest, IMHO...
RockRaines
QUOTE(3E8 @ Apr 11, 2005 -> 02:35 PM) Crede still has a higher avg than Rowand. The whole bottom of our order is a mess. But A-row will come around and hit 300, while crede will come around and hit

AddisonStSox
QUOTE(Jabroni @ Apr 11, 2005 -> 02:34 PM) Not really. The Crede-lovers only make an appearance when he actually does something, which is not very often. That has nothing to do with it. People reading this thread care about the game and such, not viable third base options. Stuff like that oughta merit another thread. That's all I was saying. DonkeyKongerko
As long as Fields doesn't destroy the minors and win two MVPs I'll be happy. I hope he comes in with average expectations.

Melissa1334
QUOTE(Butter Parque @ Apr 11, 2005 -> 02:33 PM) It's gonna be a long year in this division if we can't touch Millwood. I guess this dispells all of your assumptions that Millwood sucks. I don't like him, but I don't think he's that bad. i agree, thus far Millwood:11 ip, oer vs. sox. we suck against c.c. westbrook, now millwood. we cant touch them at all. its gonna be a long long long long year. we cant lose 1-0 sox offense yesterday, today... :headshake
