danman31
8th grade soccer game. We have the ball in the other team's penalty box. One guy had it and then a quick pass and some dribbles and before I know it the guy right behind me, on my own team, has the ball. I was making a run so I was surprised when I saw he had the ball. He was already cocked to take a shot. I knew I didn't have time to get out of the way. I figured he would lift it so I ducked. I guessed wrong, he hits a roller right into my side. CWSGuy406
Basketball game last summer, one of the first of the summer. Varsity game. At Marian Catholic. I don't get to play a whole lot, so when I do get in there, I try to have a good time. Well, I hit a three, and everyone's happy. I'm backpeddling back to play defense, and just as I hit half court, I fall flat on my ass. Everyone on both benches are laughing their asses off. My buddies still rip on me for that... :banghead Edited April 16, 2005 by CWSGuy406
Chisoxfn
Getting a partial tear in my rotator cuff. Nothing worse than that cause my arm hurt like a bastard every and anytime I tried throwing the ball after that. Especially since I never had any operation or anything. Since then I've built semi strength back but that sucked ass cause my playing days ended (not that I was going to be a pro or anything). In terms of being on the field. We were a few games away from making the state finals. I'm thinking Semi's for the SoCal area (may be wrong on that cause I never understood exactly how things went) and I had started the game before and we had inning limits so I couldn't go in this game except out of the pen. We were already losing, but I came in with the bases loaded and nobody out. Got 2 quick outs then on the next play got a pop out but the 2nd baseman dropped it. I then had to face there best hitter, meatball, grandslam (never had I given up one and never have I since). On the plus side I was 3-4 in the game and scored our teams only runs.
