My brother tried installing a new radio in my Grand Marquis and while he was installing it he must of blown a fuse to the inside car lights, because no light in my car works, expect for the headlights. And also the the thing that tells the time doesn't come on anymore. I was wondering that once a fuse blows in a car can and is it easy to be fixed?

yes and yes. fuse box is located usually under dash on drivers side. should be labelled. find out which is the right fuse to replace and just pull it out and replace with same size fuse...

The only thing is he didn't even touch the fuse box, just where the radio was..

he didn't have to. fuse could have just simlply went bad or there was a surge in the current from him working with the radio wires which blew the fuse...not really the best person to ask how/why it works though...

He doesn't need to be. It just means he surged something and the fuse blew to protect the "circuit" so other components don't blow from too much current.

Hey, Begood, what kind of car is this?

The reason I ask: Most American cars when the dome light is out, the cigarette lighter is also out (same fuse), and the radio is on it's own fuse. But, I noticed in my wife's Nissan that the radio and the clock, that's in the radio are on different fuses. It doesn't make much sense to me to have a different fuse for the clock, but that's what the problem was.
