fathom
Ozzie's tinkering is out of control, and it's only the 9th game of the season. Now, we just lost our best hitter by far this season because Ozzie's a f***ing dumbass.

AddisonStSox
QUOTE(robinventura23 @ Apr 14, 2005 -> 05:29 PM) Carl's leaving the game. f***ing great. This is bad news. Keep in mind, Podsednik is also missing some time. If both of those guys miss extended time, we are in some deep s***.

fathom
If Everett has to go on the DL, we might be the worst offensive team in the majors now.
Soxbadger
The worst part is this inning should of never happened. Uribe blew that play. SB
That funky motion
QUOTE(fathom @ Apr 14, 2005 -> 05:26 PM) That's why you don't play Everett in the f***ing field! Absolutely no f***ing excuse for him to ever play in the field. Leave it to Oz! If it not broke,I fix it anyway! Keep it up Oz!!!
AddisonStSox
QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Apr 14, 2005 -> 05:29 PM) What exactly happened? I'm only watching Gameday. He really, really, really misplayed a routine fly to LF. He broke in on it and it sailed over his head. Well, he decides to run directly into the wall and not only misses the ball, but injures his shoulder.

valponick
QUOTE(robinventura23 @ Apr 14, 2005 -> 11:30 PM) Timo "one-handed catch" Perez in the game now. As much as I don't like him out there he gets the job done most of the time. Lets just hope El Euque can settle down and give us 5 more innings. Carl was attempting to catch Broussard's ball, but his shoulder crashed into the wall. He was grimacing in pain for a few minutes. striker
Good job fat ass Uribe. The guy is only good for a sac fly. Everett needs to learn how to field. When Thomas gets back I'd rather have a s***ty hitting Dye playing right then a s***ty fielding Everett.

Soxbadger
How many outs does El Duque need to get? Everett's was an easy fly ball. Uribe blew a double play. He does not need to settle down, the defense needs to apologize and beg him for forgiveness. SB

Dick Allen
It definitely is Everett's shoulder that was injured. He grabbed it right away and Herm was rubbing in. Then Carl started trying to stretch it and was in too much pain to continue. One thing this play shows is that Carl's fielding glove should be thrown in the garbage. He is strictly a DH now. SB Actually there is no way they turn 2 on that grounder, they were in the Hafner shift, Crisp would have beaten Harris to the bag easily. Still a horrible play though.
