Everyone in baseball knows that the past few years, he was the worst outfielder in baseball. Not only that, Everett's not exactly someone who's learned to avoid injuries. When and if Frank comes back, Everett is either a real expensive pinch hitter, platoons with Frank or is trade bait. He also appears to be gaining back some of the weight that he lost. All I know is that Everett is an absolute disaster in the outfield. In a way, Everett/Ozzie/KW got lucky that Frank was hurt, so they don't have a 4 million dollar bench player. You wouldn't keep a hot hitter on the bench just to get MAYBE 4 ABs a week. You play him. You take the downgrade in defense for the improvement in offense.
