Just can't seem to get over that hump to make a sweep.

Keep rolling and win every one of these series, and I will be a happy Sox fan.

My player of the game is the one and only Neal Cotts. Thank you Neal for giving us a chance and not walking runners, oh wait, or throwing wild pitches, damn he did that too, or getting behind hitters. Ah f*** it, Neal can you give Walker a call and let him know that you are keeping his seat warm.

I know we need two lefties and all. But Vis pitches just as good to lefties. Lets drop Cotts and bring up Atkins. At least he has heart.

I hope Cotts is sent down. The guy is always wild and behind in the count. Give Kevin Walker his $425,000 and bring him up. Cotts is a lefty that can't even get lefties out. What good is he then? Maybe Walker can get lefties out...

WPA data again... I can explain away both sides don't adding up to zero through the indifferece call in the ninth. But that both are more than .500, that has to be from me deleting an improper log sometime in the middle of the game, then relogging it.

You might wanna check Walker's AAA stats again.

Walker is definitely not the answer... i rather see Arnie Munoz... he didnt do to bad out of the pen last year.

Well here are my feelings about this game.

Ozzie didnt manage 2 well again putting El Duque out there in the 6th when he was clearly done after the 5th.. Than bringing in Neal Cotts into a tie game with a runner on is something i dont want to see... in pressure situations Cotts is the last person in our bullpen id like to see simply because out of everyone he is the worse.

Also lay off Crede he has a 5 game hitting streak now and his hitting is coming at good times too. Also im glad we wont have to see Cora anymore as far as im concerned he won that game for the tribe with his glove if nothing else.

No excuse to lose a Hernandez/Elarton match-up. Elarton was throwing meatballs tonight, and we couldn't give ourselves a big enough lead because of some stupid managerial decisions by Ozzie. Everett should never, ever be in the outfield. Oh well, we're going to have to start hitting better at the Cell, because Jacobs Field was playing like Yellowstone this week, and saved us a lot of Indians homers.

Cotts can get MLB'ers out at times but he gets behind in the count, gets wild, walks guys, and gives up runs.  He's not the answer either.

Are you going to want to get rid of a guy everytime he has a bad game or makes a bad play?? Cause it sure seems that way.

What?  When has Cotts ever been good for us?  Let him figure it out in the minors.

Neal's a major league pitcher and he's proven that, the only reason to ever send him back down is for when the sox decide to use him as a starter if that ever happens. Personally I think he had Hafner struck out which changes the whole complexion of the inning but either way we're 9 games into the season, the sox are 6 and 3 and you already want to get rid of two key players for this team, gotta settle down a bit.

Yeah, Cotts' 6.14 career ERA sure shows that. :rolly

Id like to see how your era would look if you had Mike Jackson coming in after you all last year :bang.... anyways like its been said the real person who messed up was Uribe with that Wheel Play.

So I guess it wasn't Cotts who was loading the bases for Jackson last year? Come on.

And what about the walks. Who gets blamed for that. Maybe AJ. Come on. Cotts has been doing this for a while. Cotts would load up the bases last year, then Thriller would empty them. It was a revolving door. The only reason it didnt get any press its because of the cancer we had at the 5th starting spot.
