Credepopsitup. Funny, Crede is hitting the same or HIGHER than AJ Pierzynski, Jermaine Dye, Jose Uribe, and 0.003 points below AaRow. Let the Crede bashing have a couple days off, until he does something stupid like dive for a ball coming his way!! OMG what is he doing?!?! :headshake

How long do you really think Cruddy will be hitting higher than those other guys? Didn't the past few seasons show you anything about Cruddy? Capn12
Yep, showed me that Crede his .261 2 years ago, and .239 last year when his swing was f***ed. Also showed me that Crede plays a very solid third base defensively, better option than we've had since Ventura there. Is he the 2nd coming of Brooks Robinson? No, not even close. but he is a more than serviceable MLB 3rd baseman, who seems to have trouble not falling back into his long swing habits sometimes. Uribe's .192 average is not making anyone forget about Jose...so you may as well call him Jose

DonkeyKongerko
At least last year Crede would hit random homeruns off a pitcher that was dominating our lineup. This year he's swinging a 3 iron.
southsideirish71
QUOTE(DonkeyKongerko @ May 26, 2005 -> 11:25 PM) At least last year Crede would hit random homeruns off a pitcher that was dominating our lineup. This year he's swinging a 3 iron. Same swing. The only difference is this year they keep challenging him with fastballs. Last year they would get cute and throw a breaking pitch that would break into his hitch and he would golf the home run out. He looks like he is flipping a switch when he hits its very mechanical. If he eliminates that, or just cuts down on it, all of those infield pop ups turn into line drives and HRs.
