I'm playing, on my 7th day of the trial, up to level 6. I'm so confused on this game. The learning curb is way too steep(Even for me who thinks WarCraft III is the best gam ever created). It's learning "curve"... and it's best if you have someone who's played to help you though. I agree, it takes some time. Once you realize how big the world is and how far you can roam it's fun. The battlegrounds really kick butt too.

Idonno I used to play Everquest so while WoW had some new things i figured it all out relatively quickly. But if you never done any MMORPG's b4 and dont have a friend that you seen it b4 it could be confusing.

If you want to play, I'll walk a bunch of you through the beginning. You can "party up" to 5 people. So me, rock, and 3 others could do a lot of quests in just a few hours. southsideirish71
QUOTE(DonkeyKongerko @ Dec 2, 2006 -> 05:10 PM) I have a 60 priest on Zul'jin and had alot of fun getting there, but now the game feels repetitive. My new pastime is Xbox Live if anyone wants to play Gears of War. I am picking that game up in a few weeks, the game I am playing a lot lately is Rainbow 6: Las Vegas. That game is pretty good, the multiplayer on xbox live is awsome and it has some of the splinter cell tricks like fliping upside down when you repell down. Buehrle>Wood
Extremly Nooby questions: 1) Is there any ever massive battles, like horde vs alliance? Is there like a system where certain races can take over certain territories from other races? 2) What will the Burning Crusade provide extra/how much/when? I'm guessing I need the original to buy it. But I believe the demo is actually the full version of the game and its your account that is limited. Anyone want to clear this up for me? I'm guessing I need the original to buy it. But I believe the demo is actually the full version of the game and its your account that is limited. Anyone want to clear this up for me? I'm a semi-noob. Have a level 30 Shaman on Mal'Ganis. There can be massive battles if the two sides set it up. Within each territory you could get 50 friends and try to battle against 50 enemies. Most of the battling goes on in the battlegrounds though. The territories can never change status. The new expansion is going to add some territories and add a couple of races. Having just started a couple months ago, I don't really see any need to rush out and get the expansion. I think it's geared towards people that have played the available races already and are looking for some fresh quests/areas to explose/objects to use. I started with the Demo as well. Really it's not bad. The game is $20, you get the first month free and then depending on your payment system (how many months you buy in advance) it's like $13-16 a month. If you play it semi-regularly, it provides enough hours of enjoyment to justify the cost...or so I keep telling myself.
sox4lifeinPA
I totally agree about the expansion. It's really for people 60+. I think Wednesday night I'm going to be on, so anyone looking to play should PM with character names so I can look out for you. Again, I'm on the hellscream server. GoodAsGould
Yeah, another thing of the game I dont like much is how you cant really interact with the horde if your alliance and vice versa. I mean, not being able to go into their main cities is totally a good idea, but I dont see why you shouldnt be able to understand each other.....besides using the /dance /wave crap. I agree...and I think you should be able to "switch sides"... or start out as a "fallen dwarf" or something like that. I also think that the guilds are very weak and they need to do things like make guild halls and guild storage houses. Implementing a guild point system where you can donate items that are assigned value points and you can take from the guild stash based on the points you've donated.
