MnSoxFan
Liotta has a 1-0 lead for Kanny in 7th, he has pitched a full 7 innings, allowed 4 hits, 2 walks and Struck out 9. Josh Hanson has his 3rd homer for only run. Flores throwing a shutout, 0-0 after 5 I think for Win-Sal. Adkins getting hit hard, 4 runs in 4 innings with 9 hits allowed. The 'bust' Joe Borchard under .200 now. Charlotte down 4-0 after 4. Barons 0-0 after 1. Tracey on the mound. Not sure what is up, been top of 2nd for a while, yet it says 70 degrees and clear. Who is running that ballpark??? Sounds like there have been some problems there.

danman31
Ok, let's go through the run down. 3 really good pitching outings from our starters tonight. As Mn said, Adkins got rocked. The Knights lost 6-2, they are now 1-7, yuck. Spidale went 1-3 with a walk and a run. Anderson 0-2, but 2 walks. Lopez 2-3 with a run. Munoz and Winklesas were solid in relief. Box Score As Bham said, the Barons won 8-7 to improve to 4-3 and hand Montgomery their first loss of the year (7-1). Young's solo HR was his only positive of the night. Fields 2-4 with a RBI. He's hitting .368, but still without an extra base hit. Sweeney 2-3 with a walk and 2 runs. Tracey had 6+ shutout innings. Pollok blew up and was part of a 7 run inning from an 8-0 lead. Jenks with the save. Box Score Winston-Salem won 4-2 to move to 3-5. Valido with a banner day going 4-4 with a double and an RBI. Flores had 5 shutout innings, I love it coming from my AAP. Box Score In a great pitchers' duel the Intimidators (5-3) beat Asheville 1-0 behind Ray Liotta. Liotta is freaking sick, it looks like he is going to quickly become one of the hottest prospects in the org. 7 IP, 0 R, 9 K, 2 BB, 4 hits. Ching Lo deserves mention for going 7 IP, 1 R himself, but in the loss. Egbert and Zaleski combined for 2 innings of perfect relief. A 2nd inning solo HR by Josh Hansen held up. winninguglyin83
BMac, Gonzalez and Liotta give us hope for some solid pitching in the future. Tracey, too. If they can do some good work with Jenks, he has the tools to be a solid bullpen guy. IMO, they're rushing some of the hitters. Just hope the slow starts don't translate into a loss of confidence that lasts into the summer.
