greasywheels121
Interesting question right now. The West is very solid again, but it seems a little more wide open this year. I've got the Suns; what about you guys?

danman31
QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Apr 16, 2005 -> 10:57 AM) If Duncan is healthy it's over IMO Ditto. The Nuggets are hot, but everybody will be playing their best in the playoffs.
Pauly8509CWS
The Lakers Seriously though, if Timmy is healthy I dont see why the Spurs wouldn't win.

GoodAsGould
Im going with the Mavericks.... their offense is awesome especially with the addition of Van Horn coming off the bench and with Avery doing the coaching they have really looked a lot better on defense. ChWRoCk2
id say dallas, and my dark horse would have to be sacramento, ver hungry team eager for a championship
Jordan4life_2007
Spurs. I think this is the best team talent wise they've ever had. Their bench is sick. They play better defense the anybody in the league. And they've got that Duncan guy.
backman
NUGGETS! As long as Phonix gets knocked out by those Memphis G's, the Nuggets have what it takes to take the west crown!

As long as Phonix gets knocked out by those Memphis G's, the Nuggets have what it takes to take the west crown! I agree with you. They are 24-3 since the as break. They are definateley hot at the right time. Just don't expect Memphis to beat phoenix. Edited April 17, 2005 by rangercal

I'm banking on them having Miller and Jackson back and healthy in the playoffs. If they do, I think they are going to suprise a lot of people. They play better team ball without webber. To win the west though? anythings possible I suppose. I have to go with the spurs, suns, nuggets, and rockets as the favorites. Jordan4life_2007
I know everybody is entitled to their opinion. But how can anybody pick against a healthy Spurs team? They're gonna win 60+ games with Duncan missing nearly 20 games. That right there should tell you how good they are. They defend better than anybody in the league "Pistons are right there." They've got a lethal balance of guys who can put it in the floor and hurt you from the perimiter. They're deep as f***ing hell. And last but not least, they've been there before and know what it takes to win it all.
backman
im only picking against the spurs because they're playing against Denver, and i am a nuggets fan, if the spurs played anyone else i would pick them!
