Chisoxfn
Wow, unbelievably awesome game by Buehrle. Ichiro was the lone Mariner who owns him and he owns everyone, especially Buehrle. Another series won
knightni
Buehrle and Paulie were both HUGE today. Franklin had most everyone else's number.
DonkeyKongerko
Wow, that game is a no-hitter if Ichiro isn't in the lineup. 12 strikeouts is still 8 less than Kerry Wood's career high...
Credepopsup
Outstanding job by Buehrle. I wish he'd speed up, though. These 1 hour 40 minute games drag on. And Kong too..
thedoctor
buerhle was freakin dealing today. how long was that game anyway?
Chisoxfn
About an hour and 40 minutes, cause 1st pitch was roughly 1:05 central time. Final out was at 3:44. I called it too. I said in the game chat that the game would be under 1:45.
NUKE_CLEVELAND
QUOTE(DonkeyKongerko @ Apr 16, 2005 -> 01:47 PM) Wow, that game is a no-hitter if Ichiro isn't in the lineup. 12 strikeouts is still 8 less than Kerry Wood's career high... Itchy-roll is a pain in the ass to everyone. The key is to shut down his buddies and MB did that in fine fashion. Great outing.
Punch and Judy Garland
I Heart Buehrle
gettysburg32
Another series won, 4-for-4. Buerhle 106 pitches, 33 balls, 12 Ks Ichiro 3-4, everyone else 0-25 PK 2-3, 2 RBI, everyone else 2-25 WGN's showing Ozzie's news conference, gotta fill some time, LOL
Chisoxfn
See, Ozzie is looking funny in the press conference so if this was the light of his comments about Willie I could maybe forgive him. His best managerial job of the year today cause he just let Buehrle pitch
SoxFanForever
QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Apr 16, 2005 -> 07:54 PM) See, Ozzie is looking funny in the press conference so if this was the light of his comments about Willie I could maybe forgive him. gettysburg32
Ozzie, "If I take Buerhle out of the game right there, I might have to stay in the stadium for awhile. Our fans, I heard them, they're pretty tough, they might be waiting in the parking lot for me."
DonkeyKongerko
Actually in the chat during yesterday's game I said Buehrle was going 9 today. I'm not quite qwerty in my predictions but I'm working on it.

soxman352000
Great Job today by Mark and the defense was outstanding as well. Lets hope the Sox keep it going and get that sweep
JUGGERNAUT
Mark's got a new weapon this year: the high pitch. He's getting more K-outs because of it. He used to be primarily a control picture that needed the corner calls to be effective. Not unlike Maddux. But now Mark features gas up high & that has really got hitters clueless against him. I don't know who thought of this but it really was a stroke of genius. Maddux' never featured that kind of gas. This new dimension to Mark may prove to be the big step to the dominant level for him. How do you defend the plate against him? He can throw on both corners, low & inside, or down & away with a lot of movement on his pitches. That will cause you to cheat & swing early like Ichiro did today. But if you do that Mark can go up high with gas & blow you away. HAIL TO THE VICTOR! SnB
Just got back from the game, what a show put on my buehrle, konerko and ichiro. Buehrle was just lights out, the fans were good, i had a great ol time at the ballpark. I still would like half my money back for the amount of time baseball was actually played today
Queen Prawn
That was awesome!!!! I got to see PK hit not one but TWO homers and Buehrle manhandle the Mariners!!!! WOOHOO!! What the heck happened in the 9th with the fan?
DonkeyKongerko
Freddy in the daytime against a struggling Meche at home. This is definitely sweepable.
