joeynach
Hey everyone. Im making this post becuase I find the MLB.tv blackouts utterly ridicolous. People like me who are within a couple hours driving distance from Chicago but dont get sox games on TV have to turn to MLB.tv. But since you are so close, basically they black out all bordering states. you get the "local blackout". The whole thing is just really messed up becuase if you are so close you should get Sox games on TV, but not all of us do. So I figured out how to get around the blackouts and watch sox (and cubs) games unrestricted. I dont want to post it, but if you send me an email or private message with your email address I can foward you the instructions.
nitetrain8601
I've tried this and it hasn't worked for me. Basically you change the proxies, but I've tried it multiple times(and i know I've done it right) and it hasn't worked.

Punch and Judy Garland
how do you change the proxies? I don't think I know what that means. Thanks
FlaCWS
Get this. I live in Florida and tried to watch the Orioles-Yankees game and was blacked out!!! I called MLB.com customer service and they tried to give me all kinds of BS explanations for why it happened. The bottom line is that I paid $80 for this subscription and I'm not getting my money's worth. Last night the link to the Sox game was broken until the bottom of the 1st and today I'm blacked out of a game involving two cities that are 1,000 miles away from me. MLB.com sucks. Purdue129
I don't know why everyone on here is having so many problems (not just this thread). I've had awesome video and service all season, and the one time it wasn't working (last night) I switched from RP to WMP and it worked. RP was up and working 10 mins. later. Texsox
I had problems with the proxy last year and I should have received the game. They agreed it was an error and sent me a $15 gift certificate to mlb.com for shopping. I have a nice pair of Sox shorts for the inconvienence.
