Podsednik expects to play tomorrow

News

White Sox outfielder Scott Podsednik missed his fifth straight game on Sunday due to a strained right groin. He expects to be back in the lineup on Monday, MLB.com reported. "If he feels fine, he will start. It's up to him," manager Ozzie Guillen said. "It all depends on how he feels."

Fantasy owners needing to set their lineup for the week ahead should expect him to play in four or five of the Sox games. In most cases, that still makes Pods better than a fantasy owner's backup options.

Yay! No more Timo leading off.

Best news i've heard all day, something about Timo really pisses me off.

He's just not meant to be a starter...He's great off the bench in pinch-hitting situations, but leave him off the starting roster.

Timo is crap.

$1 mill for someone in a roster spot that we coulda just used someone from the system.

bad spending there IMO, but hey, I'll be glad to eat those words and see Timo have many clutch hits for us this year.

Alas, get me Pods back in the lineup already!
