Jordan4life_2007
I was talking with a friend of mine and he mentioned that word out of Los Angeles is that Tyson Chandler will take a one year offer from the Bulls to become an unrestriced fa in the summer of 06. Apparently, he wants to play for the Lakers? I went to Lakerground.com. They've got a 90 post thread about it. I've also heard Chandler and Duhon to the Lakers for Odom? Please somebody with any kinda of inside info tell me this is horses***. Here's the thread from Lakersground. http://forums.lakersground.net/viewtopic.p...1875&forum=1&90 Edited April 18, 2005 by Jordan4life_2004
aboz56
He is from California, if he wanted to go play out there it wouldn't be any surprise to me.

DBAHO
Lakers are going to miss out on Stoudemire anyways so yeah I could possibly see this happening, depending on what Tyson's tolerance level of Kobe Bryant is.
shagar69
i dont see the trade happening. But as far as FA i could def. see chandler goin to LA. Hes from Compton and if they put up the money y woudlnt he wanna go there?
aboz56
QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Apr 18, 2005 -> 07:23 PM) Lakers are going to miss out on Stoudemire anyways so yeah I could possibly see this happening, depending on what Tyson's tolerance level of Kobe Bryant is. Tolerance level? Hell he should be happy to play with one of the 3 best players in the league with 3 rings at the still young age of what, 25? GoodAsGould
I thought Kobe was like 27 or older already.... But he seems like he loves being a bull right now and he loves this team.... But I can see if he isnt a starter next year why he would want to leave... Although i kind of doubt that there wouldnt be a story about it in Chicago... Didnt New York try to make up some story about Curry or something earlier this season. Pax said he is going to resign both these guys so until he gives me reason not to trust him I have confidence both will be back.

Just ask atkins and odom, they will tell you.
Chisoxfn
QUOTE(aboz56 @ Apr 18, 2005 -> 03:34 PM) Tolerance level? Hell he should be happy to play with one of the 3 best players in the league with 3 rings at the still young age of what, 25? I'd be shocked if he wanted to leave Chicago for LA. Chandler is so stinking happy in Chicago it isn't funny. He'll probably get a decent contract from them this year too. Besides that the Kobe love is gone and inside stuff out here says management may be regretting how things went with Kobe. On a sidenote an Odom deal makes zero sense. Just think about what Paxson wants. Odom is the last thing from it, plus the salary wouldn't match up. Do I also need to say that Pax would be an idiot to trade Ad for Odom. Odom is a horses ass and a total POS. This is just garbage from Laker fans who don't realize there team is so screwed because Jerry Buss is a jackass and same goes for Kobe. They are gonna be quiet for a long while, unless they get lucky in the lottery or find someone stupid enough to give them something decent for Odom. GoodAsGould
yeah unless they can trade Odum Lakers are screwed for the next 2-3 years and wont be able to afford Chandler.

SoxFanForever
That thread over on the Laker's board is hilarious. The people over there are talking like it is a done deal and they will have Duhon and Chandler really soon. Gimme a break. Stuck up bunch of jag off's. Like a sadder version of Yankee fans. GoodAsGould
If the lakers can they should try and draft Deron Williams he would be good for that team.

nitetrain8601
It's bull. He might sign the qualifying offer and go, but no one knows right now. I could pretty much say it's probably 95% Chicago 5%LA. I honestly don't see him leaving. And Odom isn't a garbage player. He's pretty damn good playing alongside anyone not named Kobe. ChWRoCk2
i like lamar odom but id prefer we keep all our players
nitetrain8601
Same with me. This trade wouldn't even make sense for the Bulls considering that Odom has proven that he is a SF and not a PF. The Bulls are stacked at SF. Odom is not needed even though I like him.
GoodAsGould
I guess Chucky atkins falls into that other 5%... Actually Kobe is good for 3 point shooters because all he does is drive towards the hoop and dish it back out... and that doesnt go well with Odum's game.
