AddisonStSox
QUOTE(fathom @ Apr 19, 2005 -> 07:12 PM) Are we able to score without a homer? Ask Jugger.
fathom
I've been pondering this for a while now, but why do we always play our 3b so deep against Ford? He probably has 10 infield hits against us with either bunts to 3b or little dribblers. That was a great bunt, but if Crede was playing closer, it would have made him swing away likely. fathom
Besides Buehrle, our pitchers do a terrible job at holding on runners. It's ironic, because it seems like every pitcher does a great job at holding on our runners.

traydragen
I did not see that, did they initially pitch to Mauer and got the count to 2-2 and then walked him??
fathom
Excellent job by Hernandez there. Would anyone else have been pissed off if Mauer got a hit in that at-bat?

fathom
Ok, nicely done by Uribe. Crede's going to have a tough time scoring on a flyball here if it's not deep.
