Sometimes you gotta feel sorry for Starbury. Let's hope Flip Saunders doesn't go there for his sanity's sake.

Ever six starbury left minnesota I lost a lot of respect for him. I thought him and kg would have been winners in this league together. He left that to go to the nets :headshake

Prediction: half of jamals assists  will be to himself off the backboard!

Actually Jamal has been getting his fair share of assists in New York... a course he is still getting a lot of shots too... but his assist numbers arent bad at all.

No Dude. Im sorry this guy is so clutch. He's on a winning team. all those 10+ 4 th quarter games.

I wouldn't give it to him. No one that will be voting on this will give it too him either. Sure he is a big time scorer ( could have ended the year under 40% though). Defense sucks ( has improved through out the year though) turns it over way too much, and is not a spectacular passer at this point. If was wants to be a starter and stick around in the league he is gonna have to do it while playing the point. Howard/ okafur > when it comes to rookie of the year. Long run i would take both of them over him too. Ia m not gonna change my mind about this so no use trying.

You're saying gordon will get no votes? You're nuts.

Disappearing for a month while Okafor and Howard stayed fairly solid doesn't help his case...

I will say this:

Gordon is top 3 clutch player in the NBA RIGHT NOW.

He has not been hot the last 2 weeks. It hasnt been a month.

Emeka and ben both average 15 pts per game they're even here

Emeka averages 10 boards a game

Ben Has 20 + 4th double figure games. That is amazing for a rook.

Bens on a playoff team with limited playing time but has made such a huge impact this year.

I still think Ben gets it.

Look at his field goal percentage the last month and a half. Whe gordon cannot shoot at a high percentage what is he good for? Honestly. I can't believe it is really a question at this point who should win it.

You are gonna be disappointed if you really think he is gonna win it.

Based on what he has done in the 4th quarter on a playoff team, yes I think he will win. Im not alone hear. I've read plenty of articles (recent ones too) with predictions of Ben winning it.
