Rooftop Shots
Somebody's got to tell Hawk to PLEASEnot take a lunch break when The Sox are up. Don't know if all of you heard it when DJ called Konerko's home run, but his home run call just doesn't cut it. That's the second time I heard him with his "UH-OH There It Is!!!" It was terrible!!! DonkeyKongerko
QUOTE(Spod=Ratings @ Apr 19, 2005 -> 09:04 PM) why is hawk always gone in the bottom of the sixth? I think we all know the answer to that question. He takes "old man" poos.

The Bones
They should have a contest where every night for the inning Hawk is gone someone gets to try there shot at play-by-play. It would definitely be better than DJ's garbage.

Compared to what Hawk does it's bad. It's something that is so bad, that it's good.
LowerCaseRepublican
I'm surprised nobody suggested the Major League-esque "Fly ball. Not caught."

gettysburg32
QUOTE(Mr. Showtime @ Apr 19, 2005 -> 11:02 PM) Compared to what Hawk does it's bad. Just it something that is so bad, that it's good. I laughed on Saturday afternoon when I heard, "uh oh, uh oh.....way back!......bye-bye" Of course I think I was laughing at it, not because of it. And then PK's curtain call, I was laughing for the whole rest of the half inning.

He might not have his saying down like Hawk because he has not been doing as long as him.

Yoda
Anyone else notice that DJ is trying to be a little more like Hawk? I usually hear him start a sentence off by saying “I don’t care who you are or where you come from...” That is Hawk material right there.
