The knee, or not the knee. That is the question.

This is from the CBS Sportsline recap of the 4-20 Tigers/Sox game

http://www.sportsline.com/mlb/gamecenter/r...0050420_CHW@DET

Instead of playing his former team for the first time, Magglio Ordonez was traveling back to Detroit from Montreal after seeing a hernia specialist, who could not conclude that Ordonez has a hernia.

"It's very puzzling," Tigers president Dave Dombrowski said.

Scott Boras keeps telling him:

As long as it's not your knee...you get $$$

It's kinda sad seeing him fall so hard.

A few people here ripped me when I suggested that he was faking the hernia.

I wasn't specifically talking about the hernia.

I meant that Maggs would never play.

But you were spot on with him faking the Hernia. :drink

Apparently they are talking surgery for Maggs. Sounds like something went horribly wrong in the offseason. He can t run for extended periods of time, and is exhausted after running the bases. Sounds like you got what you paid for when you had illegal surgery.

Tiggers' fans still don't think that it's really Magg$'s knee...

All but this poster...

My guess is that the Magster has a little case of Contractaphobia

It's caused by signing a huge contract and not being ready to play on a regular basis because your injuries are worse than you thought, so you blame being out on something else that can't be diagnosed.

Hmmm - just a guess - I'm no expert.

Something is really wrong with him.

When I first heard that he had a hernia it made absolutely no sense, but I did not want to jump to conclusions. It is very strange because Maggs clearly went through a physical before he signed a contract with the Tigers, and they were acting like the hernia has been around for a while. That means that the Dr.s that did the physical had to have missed a hernia.

It seemed pretty illogical, especially since Maggs was already an injury risk, so I assume they went over him with a fine tooth comb.

I dont know what it is, but something is definitely suspect.

Magglio "Cashlio" Ordonez is full of s***.

For those who have not, check out the following tidbit from ESPN.com -

Instead of playing his former team for the first time, Ordonez traveled back to Detroit from Montreal after seeing a hernia specialist, who could not conclude that Ordonez has a hernia.

Ordonez said missing the game against the White Sox didn't add to his misery.

"I just want to play against anybody," Ordonez said in Detroit's clubhouse after the game.

Ordonez is scheduled to be examined by doctors in Michigan on Thursday and to visit another hernia specialist Monday in Philadelphia. He is 0-for-10 in three games after signing a $75 million, five-year contract.

DOESN'T HAVE A HERNIA? NO KIDDING!!

C'mon Maggs...We're not buying it. Now he's going to see other specialists. Right, like they're going to find anything.

Sorry Magg's, you're knee was for s***. You denied it. Wouldn't let the Sox take a look at you. Promised that you were tip-top. Down talked the Sox for not giving you your just desserts by not offerong you the big contact that you had already turned down. Down talking them for not trusting you, after all, look at all you did for them. And now, you're knee is hurting you and you're saying that it's a phantom hernia.

Hell, I got a hernia just laughing at your bulls***.

I'm glad Maggs is gone. Good riddance.

Maggs: Scott, my knee...its feeling horrible. I don't think all is well with it.

Boras: Well whatever you do, don't tell the Tigers brass that! We aren't losing out on that ridiculous contract I got for you!

Maggs: Oh....good point! Hmm, I can say its a hernia. They probably won't even check for that.

:banghead Maggs, how ye have fallen

You can't hide a knee injury. Magglio obviously has something wrong with him on the inside. Hopefully its not serious. If you really believe he can cover up pain in his knee with a claim of a hernia, I have some authentic 2003 White Sox World Series rings to sell you.
