The knee, or not the knee. That is the question.

If his knee is still screwed up, his looses a ton of loot right? Wouldn't the Tigers be all over trying to find out if it's the knee? How would he cover it up?

That's exactly what I think. I really believe he hurt himself over compensating for his knee, but if Detroit could have the option to get out of that contract, you know they would be doing everything they could to do so. Even if they didn't want out of the deal, they would damn well make sure that they had the chance to do so if worst comes to worst.

A hernia can be hard to diagnose according to the articles? Hmmm, everybody I know of who has had a hernia (including myself) went to the doctor knowing full well before hand that they had a hernia. It's usually pretty easy to tell: you hurt and somewhere a part of you is protruding that shouldn't be. My first clue was when jumping jacks hurt like hell, and my belly button disappeared and was replaced by something sticking out that hurt to touch.

Unless Detroit is also willing to buy time in hopes of some extra healing as they will look like asses to their fans if he doesn't pan out. So in that case, they play along, let Maggs get more rest, and then hope he comes back better. :huh
