T R U
QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Apr 23, 2005 -> 06:34 PM) Completely fantastic pick by the Jets. Justin Miller I love the pick That would have been a fantastic pick for anyone in round 2, he was a projected 1st rounder BTW, love the Miami pick "Roth is regarded as one of the premier pass rushers in the collegiate ranks and one of the toughest players in the country. He is a blue-chip prospect with a blue-collar work ethic. Roth is a colorful character who plays the game as if he is on a "search and destroy" mission. He is the source of a campus urban legend, as many Hawkeyes talk of the time Roth challenged and cleared out an entire bar in a fight." witesoxfan
Did they really think they needed more depth at WR? Man, wtf...I am so f***in confused right now. WHY?
CWSGuy406
Anyone real good still left on the board? I've switched over to the Sox game for good now. And, where did that Mathis kid go?

jackie hayes
QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Apr 24, 2005 -> 01:11 AM) Anyone real good still left on the board? I've switched over to the Sox game for good now. And, where did that Mathis kid go? Apparently, Mathis is still on the board as Oakland picks in the 3rd round. Addy is -- his boy Gore went w/ the first pick of the 3rd. jackie hayes
Channing Crowder at the top of the 3rd, to Miami. Jerome Mathis, Ciatrick Fason, Marion Barber, Alex Smith, Chris Henry, Elton Brown still available. That's sounds like a lot of value for the 3rd round. Check that, Smith is gone. Gene Honda Civic
I loved Ellis Hobbs in the few games I saw him play. Little suprise that New England is where he ended up.
greasywheels121
Nice...I just noticed Courtney Roby, a WR from Indiana, got drafted by the Titans in the 3rd round. Good luck to him; though I can't root for him, when he's playing Indy.

This pick is extremely questionable but they do have a very good track record.
nitetrain8601
Bradley is a good player. Leave him alone already. Anyway, if anyone could develop Clarett, the Broncos can.
Gene Honda Civic
QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Apr 23, 2005 -> 10:00 PM) And if we picked Roby there is someone else you would complain JA shoulda picked. I'm pretty consistent on JA. I didn't say anything on Harris last year. I thought he would be a good player. I ripped Tank Johnson. I liked the Vasher pick. I defended the Krenzel pick. I'm honest, not biased. You can go back and look it up.
WHarris1
Alright I just would like to see something in training camp and preseason before taking a dump on Bradley. He is an athletic freak in all catagories and takes it to the house when he gets his chances.

Heads22
QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Apr 23, 2005 -> 09:51 PM) I loved Ellis Hobbs in the few games I saw him play. Little suprise that New England is where he ended up. The guy has a ton of heart. Would've rather he went to the Colts, as it's usually Hawks that end up in Indy, but Ellis is a great guy and I wish him luck. He just plays hard. witesoxfan
SO NO ONE CAN TELL ME WHY BUFFALO TOOK A WR IN ROUND 2 AND A TE IN ROUND 3?!!!!!?!?!?!?!?! AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
AddisonStSox
The Vikings, Bengals, Cardinals and Dolphins had grade A days. Day number two is a few hours away, anything can happen. ...go Niners.
Punch and Judy Garland
The 49ers have to be added to the Grad A list bu the others were good choices. I think Arizona nad San Francisco are more or less going to be the consensus top drafts. YOu really have to like Green int he 3rd and Arrington in the 2nd for Arizona while SF gets a lot of credit for sticking to their guns on Smith and Gore is intriguing as a third rounder with a Kevin Barlow who needs a swift kick in the ass. I didn't get the Bills thing. I understood TE, and I understood Parrish since Reed has underachieved but it was the second receiver that surprised me. One other ogod draft has to be the Jets. Even though they didn't have a #1 and picked a kicker very high, everything worked out great. They got BOTH guys they wanted with the Clemson corner and a big upgrade at K. They didn't have a lot of needs and conventional wisdom says they didn't do anything great but they are a better football tema todya thna yesterday (and they were a playoff team yesterday)

Be Good
I am happy with Nick Sabans Day 1 picks. Ronnie Brown, is a back the Dolphins really needed. And supposley DE Roth and LB Channing Crowder are very good. Especially where they were taken.
