jackie hayes
Sproles goes off the board to SD. I wouldn't mind if the Bears traded up to the end of the 4th round, before we get to the compensatory picks...

This is all a big tease. Canty goes. Where will Hawthorne's slide end?

If Angelo finds a way to net Shazor, I'll turn around on this draft class in a hurry. Talk about a value pick.

Palehosefan
Hey greasy if you are reading this, what do you think of Trai Essex? I saw he was from your area and thought I would ask, he's from NW so Danman or others could probably help me out also.

knightni
So, Marcus Jones - Louisville - would be a bad OLB? He is a pass rusher that is faster than Shazor.
greasywheels121
QUOTE(Palehosefan @ Apr 24, 2005 -> 11:49 AM) Hey greasy if you are reading this, what do you think of Trai Essex? I saw he was from your area and thought I would ask, he's from NW so Danman or others could probably help me out also. Yep. He went to FW Harding. I know he was a tight end in high school, and when he went to Northwestern. He ended his playing career at NW at left tackle. From what I've been reading, you guys may look at him at a couple positions. He's a big guy (6'4, 324 pounds), but he can really move on the field. He'll be good for Pittsburgh. He should continue the history of Fort Wayne to Pittsburgh players well. Rod Woodson was the last guy from the Fort to play for the Steelers. jackie hayes
QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Apr 24, 2005 -> 05:02 PM) I'd have to think Cleveland looks long and hard at Shazor. He's kind of small for 3-4 lb, and I wonder if Browner may become a better safety. At least, that's what I'm pinning my hopes on...
