DonkeyKongerko
Royals Payroll: $36.2 million Yankees luxury tax: $30.6 million George having to pay it for a 7-11 team that is booed daily by its paying customers: priceless
RibbieRubarb
They did have the same record last year at this time. As much as I would like to see the Yanks falter, they have proven in the past they can turn it on and win.
Kid Gleason
Observation: We all talk about how when the Sox start winning, then people will talk about us. But everynight I turn on a National news outlet of any sort, both Boston and the Yankees are the lead stories on the baseball front. Question: If we need to win to get mass coverage, how bad do either of those teams need to become for people to stop talking about them? Or better yet, how mediocre? Obviously a BAD team will also get mass discussion going. Edited April 25, 2005 by Kid Gleason

We may very well have a 19-0 record and we would get no recognition. :headshake

Of course, they have to call us the Red-Hot White Sox, making absolutely positive they get Red and Sox in there. I think they are intentionally trying to do that too
Wise Master Buehrle
I've seen White Hot White Sox more often than Red Hot.
