greg775
What a masterpiece. I'm so glad Oz left him in the ninth. No reason to not let him go all the way. Man was Garland in control. Nice, fluid pitching motion. As dominant as a guy can be in only striking out three or so. Glad Kenny and Oz and Coop didn't give up on him. He looks like he's turned his career up a notch. And he gets us off to a good start in a place we never win the opening game of a series. Way to go, Jon.

Punch and Judy Garland
He wasn't Judy because of his pitching, it's because he acts like a girl

Punch and Judy Garland
I'm not trying to piss on the parade but him being 4-0 doesn't make him any better of a guy. That's all I meant to say.
SleepyWhiteSox
QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Apr 25, 2005 -> 11:53 PM) As long as he keeps pitching like this he can go out there and start ballet dancing wearing a pink tutu and singing love songs for all I care. Seriously. I'm more concerned on his performance on the field. As long as the team continues to win, he carry a purse and paint his nails, provided that it isn't detrimental to the team... bjm676
I think putting him at #5 was best thing for him. He seems to have less pressure on himself.
nitetrain8601
^^I agree. Also it seems like he isn't throwing as hard as he can, but rather concentrating more on the location of his pitches which I heard is better for a sinkerball pitcher.
