Wes Whisler day-to-day...

Per Alan York (W-S media relations guy), Wes Whisler tweaked his shoulder in his first start, is day-to-day. Supposed to start throwing again here in a day or 2, they don't believe it is anything serious, just taking proper precautions.

Several had asked about it, just thought I'd let you folks know.

Thanks to Alan for the quick reply.

Thanks for getting that info Randy.  Been busy with midterms and was meaning to do so.

Also Brice is out with a shoulder injury of some sort.

And Villicas has taken Pacheco's Roster spot will pitch tonight @ Tennessee

No, I was just implying they needed to make a roster change. I think your probably going to be right and Diaz will be activated. His injury isn't supposed to be very serious.

That or you could see Bham promote someone to Charlotte. On a sidenote, there is talk Gio may get a promotion faster than some would of suspected.

Who would move down? Would they cut a reliever and move someone to the pen? Bakker seems like a good candidate to be shifted if anyone.

Well Bakker definately needs to head on down. I think you will see Gio promoted after two more starts, but it could even happen quicker.

And then of course you will have Whisler rejoining the rotation so someone else will be kind of an odd man out at that point. You could also see someone at WS get promoted to BHam.
