He seemed to be one of the few players who got the fact that the quickest way to get to a good pitcher is to get his pitch count up, and get him out of the game. Davis would of either of hit the first pitch or K'd. He has too long of a swing to fight off that many pitches. I like our backstops this year. Its a pleasant surprise from the previous years.
